Description

The German-Japanese Innovation Transfer Summit (ITS) brings together scientists, transfer experts, and industry champions from both countries to jointly explore the latest scientific innovations, connect scientific methods to industrial processes, and identify synergies for value creation in the German and Japanese economic systems.

Following the initiative set by the German High-Tech Agenda, this event uniquely bridges the aspects of knowledge transfer and international collaboration. Enhancing the pool of innovations by joining researchers from both countries and providing a wide range of application opportunities for these innovations by inviting experienced industrial champions from both systems, the ITS utilizes the advantages of intra-country cooperation to amplify our ability to transfer.

The ITS will focus on fostering exchange within the heterogeneous group of participants, expanding networks across both countries’ systems, and sparking concrete transfer and application ideas that can be pursued to become full projects.
