 ent/400020147.pdf #2 Kashiwa Library\n\nhttps://www.u-tokyo.ac.jp/en/index
 .html#map #Kashiwa Campus\n\nOutline:\nThe construction of Cherenkov Teles
cope Array (CTA)-North Large Size Telescope 1(the first LST) was completed
in 2018\, at the Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos site in La Palma
. The remaining three Large Size Telescopes (LST2-4) are currently under c
onstruction and will be completed in 2025\, aiming for stereo observations
with 4 LSTs.\n\nThe commissioning phase of CTA-North LST1 is currently pr
ogressing well. The LST1 detected the gamma-ray signal from the Crab Nebul
a in November 2019 and successively detected the pulsed gamma-ray emission
from the Crab pulsar in January-February 2020. In addition\, we have succ
essfully detected Active Galactic Nuclei\, the Galactic Center Region\, an
d an outburst of recurrent nova RS Ophiuchi.\n\nThe CTA Observatories will
play important parts in multi-messenger astronomy with a global network o
 f gravitational wave detectors\, the high-energy neutrino observatory\, an
d other wavelength observations. In this workshop we will view the extreme
Universe from observational and theoretical aspects and focus on the scie
nce targeted by the CTA LSTs\, namely Gamma-Ray Bursts\, Active Galactic N
 uclei\, Pulsars\, Starburst Galaxies\, Dark Matter searches\, Primordial B
lack Hole searches\, and test of Lorentz Invariance Violation.\n\nThis wor
kshop is supported by the joint research program of the Institute for Cosm
ic Ray Research (ICRR)\, the University of Tokyo and JSPS KAKENHI Grant-in
-Aid for Scientific Research (S)\, Number 23H05430 "Revealing the high-ene
